Some Things To Know About The Quality Problem Of Human Hair Extensions
Posted on October 24 2019
Why did my hair extensions have a little shedding? Our hair is 100% virgin human hair and double weft, normally the hair is not shed from the curtain. I do hope that when you install the hair, you did not cut the curtain. If you did cut the curtain, then the hair would shed. And please treat the hair just like your own hair, and be gentle when you comb it, or it would be broken from the middle part. The hair likes our own hair, shedding is inevitable when you wash it please use some conditioner, and please be gentle when you comb it, that will be better. As long as you take good care of it, it would last longer.
When it comes to long hair, you could divide the hair into 3 part while you combine it, first to comb the ending part then the middle part, and finally from top to end.
Why did I feel like thinning hair after installing hair extensions? To deal with the different length, you can put the shortest in first then the next and the longest on top so it’ll be thick at the ends. The weight of one hair bundle is about 95~100g, if you have ordered longer hair, maybe the ending part would be a little thinner than the top part.
How to deal with hair extensions shedding and tangling? To take good care of the human hair, you could detangle the hair gently before washing, and condition it regularly, don’t rub or twist hair. And when you wash it, add mild shampoo to cool water and swish hair till clean, don’t expose hair to the sun. To avoid tangling, I would suggest using a sulfate free shampoo as well as a minimal product. The hair takes well to bleaching as well as coloring. Be sure to use under a 40 volume developer to avoid damage to the hair
Can hair extensions be straightened, curled?Treat the hair as if it is your own. Use a flat iron/ straightener or tongs, even when fitted, but as with your own hair never use hot tools too often as you could dry the hair and it will not last as long.
Can hair extensions be dyed and bleached? Our hair extensions are made with human hair. The hair can be colored. As a general rule, it is easier to darken the hair than to lighten the hair. But blonde hair has been bleached more so more caution must be taken when working with blonde hair. Always use a good quality hair dye and test a small sample first. It is best to always use a heat protection product before applying heat to the extensions. Just like our own hair, the less heat you use the better.
Tips for bleaching hair extensions:Lightening is more difficult and riskier than darkening. Lightening usually requires bleaching hair extensions which can really damage them – even 100% human hair extensions. To avoid bleaching, you can directly dye the darker hair into the color you desire, but that usually leaves a tint of dark shade. The hair ends up with shades of slightly orange. However, re-doing the coloring over and over again should remove the orange shade and eventually get you to the light color that you had wanted. Usually, you’ll need three processes to obtain the perfect match. Coloring will have to be repeated in intervals of a few days.
Can Hair Take Heat?Yes, but please take care of the temperature between 160-180.
Tips for heating hair extensions: Generally, heated styling appliances can be used on 100% human hair. Use conditioning whenever possible. Always do a test curl first and use the lowest effective temperature level (about 180 degrees). Overuse of curling irons, flat irons, and blow dryers will shorten the life of human hair extensions. Heated curling or straightening irons should never be used on synthetic hair.
